Crazytown
So, I've decided to stop pretending that I'm going to be able to keep up this blog for the next few weeks. We're officially moving tomorrow and then it's crazytown until a bit after the baby comes. But don't worry, I'll try to keep things (barely) alive around here until I can come back full force. It just may be the weekly it list....or even bi-monthly it list for a bit. Here's a little gem for you in the meantime.

Pinterest Gems
Oh yes - it is Pinterest time. I'm pretty sure you're just as excited about this as I am. Or maybe I'm just delusional. Either way it's happening. And it's been awhile so I've got some GOOD stuff for you slash me. I may have even gotten a little carried away and categorized them.
The funnies:

The fashions:
{Amazing zigzag ring from Anthropologie}
{What I would look like if I was a secret agent - leather inspiration found here}
{Perfectly layered necklaces from Kei Jewelry etsy shop}
{If only it wasn't sold out....or if I had $1450 to blow. Basically perfect Zac Posen dress}
The food:
{Hot Cocoa cookies....just LOOK at that gooeyness oozing out. OMG. Recipe found here}
{I'm not a fan of cooked fruit...except for apples in which case I'll eat the whole pie. So this Fresh Peach Pie recipe is perfect and I'm already planning on making it next summer.}
The goods....home goods that is:
{Brilliant. No idea where to buy this but still. Pinned here}
{So doing this instead of carving this year. Because in my mind it'll take less time even though deep down in my mind I know it will take more. Pinned here}
{DIY abstract oil art that I may or may not but will probably attempt for our new apt. Add one more thing to the already daunting and impossible to do list crazy lady.}
{TOTALLY having this at our dream house. We'll have 5 dogs so it'll totally make sense to have an awesome doggie door for them. Although only 2 will be allowed inside at one time, which they'll totally understand right? Pinned here}
{A GLITTER WALL!!!! WHHAAATT?!? The first girl I have will undoubtedly have this in her nursery. And there's nothing hubby can do about it. Pinned here}
{Sweet herringbone flooring. This is totally happening in my house one day. Pinned here}

My husband is pretty freaking awesome.
So the hubby is a rockstar. Case in point - he produced his first full length feature film and it just so happened to be not only accepted into the Austin Film Festival (which is in the top five festivals in the world)...but they wanted it for a world premiere status. Woot! The only downside is the festival is right around Orange Seed's due date. So we'll see how that all goes down. Hubby refuses to miss the birth (thank goodness), so he may miss the festival. BUT if the little dude comes early...which there's a good chance of, he'll be able to leave me and go see his hard work in action! Anyway, check out the trailer below and give the hubby a shout out on FB or in the comments. Because he's kind of my hero.

Zion's Trip
Well lucky for you being warehouse/home ridden means I can FINALLY post about all the things I've promised since forever ago. Starting with our trip to Zions back in March! This was a psuedo anniversary trip since on our actual BIG two year anniversary I was on doing my dancing thing and couldn't properly celebrate. So get ready for picture overload. Because there's like 43 coming at you. Not that I counted or anything.
So we started off by golfing at this beautiful course right at the edge of Zions- something the hubby loves to do and I've never actually done. It was actually pretty fun...especially when I got to drive the cart. That was the best part really. But don't tell hubby.
Then on our way back to our hotel we passed this bizarre but super duper cool tree draped in shoes. I wish I knew the story behind it, but then I remember hearing about shoes draped on telephone wires having something to do with drugs....so maybe it's better I don't know.
And THEN we stopped at this awesome ghost town. Did you know I like taking photos of random old crap? Well, I do...so this little town was heaven.
And then the next day we hiked around Zions which was way, way cool. I love me some red rock.
And then my pictures got really orange. Not exactly sure why - they looked fine on my computer (a PC) when I edited them, but moving them over to this stinking MAC gave the last few a weird orange hue. Never trust a MAC.
Oh, and then we drove through this tunnel which was significant for some reason and the hubby was really excited about it....but dang, I can't remember why for the life of me, so ask hubby.
And that was it! A perfect, relaxing little weekend getaway that allowed my 1st trimester body to not overdo it. Thanks for an amazing trip love - you will always be my forever.
